This is your opportunity to work through the process of creating a non-fiction book proposal under the guidance of two publishing professionals, and with a group of peers who are doing the same. Price includes professional critique session.

This six-week journey will give you knowledge, insider insights and feedback on your proposal. Each week will include some instruction from publishing guru Jan B King of eWomen Publishing Network as well as some roll-up-your-sleeves work with program mentor, Gail Richards, of AuthorSmart.com.
Week 1. Understanding what a book proposal is for and what a publisher wants
Week 2. The “Overview"and “About the book” sections
Week 3. The chapter summaries and sample chapters
Week 4. The “About the author” section, and the “Author Platform”
Week 5. The “Competitive Assessment”
Week 6. Proposal Submission Etiquette
As the final assignment for Session #6, you will submit your book proposal draft for a professional critique and discussion of next steps.
In addition to the teleclass session and critique, the price includes the 12-page AuthorSmart Book Proposal Template, the AuthorSmart Author Platform and Competitive Analysis inventories with step-by-step help with the different pats of the process.
